In June 2013 a friend and I were flown out to Boston MA for an all expenses-paid work trip to decorate a woman's home. She was a very nice Chinese lady who wanted something that paid homage to her home country. I created this Dragon/Phoenix duo because in Chinese culture the Phoenix represents Yin and the Dragon represents Yang. My friend Jason did the rest of the room, which I don't have pictures of unfortunately.
